This is the game I waited for about 20 years. I wish I were kidding. I played a lot of Scifi strategy games, Master of Orion, Pax Imperial, Ascendancy, everything that I could get my fingers on. I put over 470 hours into this game in a year and I put out at least one series with every major update.
If you like to roleplay, try this: Get yourself a mod that lets you put other empires to zero. Play for some hours and wait for the other dudes to join the galactic stage. I like it quite a lot.
